Hands on Deck

You and your friend are two jellyfish pirates on a ship firing cannonballs at opposing enemy ships, whilst also trying to avoid cannon fire that hits the deck of the ship. Try to defeat as many enemy ships as you can to prevent your ship from breaking apart fully! 

How to Play

• One player shoots cannonballs by pressing the button in the barrel, while the other player can aim by holding the cannon.
• Players can only shoot cannonballs if the player holding the cannon is in the shooting area and the player pressing the button has ammo. 
• Both players must evade obstacles; if they die, they can be revived by going over to the respawn point (it looks like ship hatches) in the back corners. 
• Players must collect as many points as possible and survive THE KRAKEN!

Detailed Explanation:

There are two respawn points that on screen look like ship hatches and they are located at each of the bottom corners of the play space. When the jelly pirates are dead and have a halo over their heads, you go to this point to revive them. At the center of the play space is a barrel with a button on top that one player must press to fire cannon balls. 

For this to work, one player must be near the cannon and another near the button. The other player will be holding the cannon and moving it horizontally and aiming it at enemy ships. While all this is happening, both players must avoid incoming cannonballs that will hit the deck.

How to Set Up

• Prepare the area by placing the cannon at the front, 2 players in the middle, and the barrel with the button in the back.  (each with enough )
  
• Set up and calibrate player1, player2, and cannon in Qualysis by assigning pins to each. 
• Open the game and set up the Qualysis address through the UI in the main menu, and connect. 
• You are ready to play!

Controls

R to restart the game (leads to main menu). Space to shoot and replay the game. 

For testing purposes, Players can be moved with WASD & Arrow Keys; the cannon does not have control.
